In 2010, the seventh centre to open under the umbrella of the Bayswater Child Care Association was the Maylands Out of School Care after a request from the Maylands Peninsula Primary School P&C. TeamKids – Bayswater South Primary has 60 approved places, representing approximately 0% of the total count for Team Holiday Pty Ltd. Great Beginnings Bayswater has 87 approved places, representing approximately 44% of the total count for Jacaranda Operations Pty Limited. Our centre is located next to the Colchester Medical Centre & opposite Colchester Nursery.

We have a sustainability leader who oversees our sustainability initiatives across the service. The children are involved in recycling projects in the rooms, including reduce, reuse and recycle activities. We have introduced a worm farm in our kindergarten yards and strive to conserve energy where we can. We have a dedicated Workplace Health and Safety officer ensuring high safety standards and all our educators are trained in First Aid, Anaphylaxis and CPR, with annual Child Protection training through Bravehearts.
Play-based learning experiences are provided for older children who no longer don’t sleep in centre. Through structured learning experiences, our Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher and educators are committed to helping your child gain the necessary skills for a successful transition into school and beyond. Our Learning Journey Curriculum is designed to be emergent in nature and is guided by the children's interests and incorporates their voice in decision making of experiences provided in our indoor and outdoor environments. We run a fully accredited kindergarten program and have a local community connection to build strong relationships. Mayfield Early Education Bayswater provides high-quality childcare and kindergarten programs for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

We focus on building secure relationships between children and educators, closely following home routines, and supporting each child in meeting their developmental milestones. I began working in early childhood education in 2013, originally joining Great Beginnings Bayswater as a trainee. In 2026, I returned to Great Beginnings Bayswater as Centre Manager, which has been a meaningful full-circle moment in my career. I am deeply passionate about early childhood education and about supporting children in developing a strong foundation and a lifelong love of learning. Over the years, I have learned that every child learns in different ways, and that creating individualised learning experiences is essential to supporting each child’s growth.

Our Family Support Team will add your child’s name to our waitlist if one of our childcare centres is currently full in your child’s age group. With the added convenience of long daycare hours, our kindergarten program runs all year round, perfect for busy families.
