Nothing matters more than creating safe and secure environments where children feel confident, and families place their full trust in our care. With the assistance of our Bachelor-Qualified Early Childhood Teacher, our Meadow Room provides a funded three-year-old Kindergarten Program. Our emergent curriculum supports children in developing social and emotional skills to engage with and collaborate with others. It encourages language development and communication skills and invites children to express creativity, confidence, and curiosity. This foundational stage is important for a child's cognitive and emotional development. At our centres, children are not just introduced to learning; they are immersed in a vibrant, interactive environment that stimulates their curiosity and creativity.
Toddlers, with guidance throughout the day, navigate social situations, investigate cause and effect relationships and build on essential early language and motor skills. Daily routines give children the opportunity to develop a sense of security, confidence, and willingness to engage with their peers. Each learning space has been thoughtfully designed to balance structured education with nurturing care, helping children feel safe, build confidence and develop independence every day. Our son has been attending Oz Education since preschool macleod he was a baby, and now, as he gets ready for school, we couldn’t be happier with his progress. The educators are caring, professional, and nurturing, always supporting his learning and development. He loves coming to the centre every day, and we feel completely confident knowing he’s in such a safe and welcoming environment.
ECMS acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and the traditional custodians of the lands on which we live, learn, work and play. Aboriginal people have a long tradition of teaching and learning through sharing their connections with country, community, language and culture. We recognise their continuing connection to the country, and we pay respects to elders past and present.
Designed for children aged 1 to 2 years, this space promotes independence, language development, and social connection through guided play. Educators support the development of self-help skills, introduce early literacy and numeracy, and offer activities that enhance physical coordination. Inspired by the Finnish early education model, our approach focuses on holistic growth through play-based learning, responsive caregiving, and meaningful relationships.
Every child in our care is individually nurtured and supported throughout their learning journey. If you manage an Early Learning Education Centres for Kids in Macleod (3085), please add your details to the site today. This stage introduces more complex learning experiences through the investigations program, which is shared with the Pre-Kindergarten. With access to a shared outdoor yard, children enjoy open-ended play and collaborative learning. In the Reindeer Room, children continue to develop their independence and begin preparing for the next stage of their learning journey.
Our childcare and early learning centres across NSW and Victoria provide long day care and Government-approved Kindergarten and Preschool programs. As the season begins to shift and the air becomes cooler, the children have been noticing the many changes happening in the world around them. Working together encouraged the children to exchange ideas, negotiate space and materials, and contribute their individual perspectives to a shared piece of work.

We rigorously follow the child-safe standards set out by the Victorian Government. These standards guide us to drive a child safe culture, provide appropriate strategies and actions to put the interests of children first, keeping them safe from harm. We are committed to involving families and communities in our efforts to keep children safe.
Children enrolled in our kindergarten or preschool rooms will participate in the 7.5-hour government-approved kindergarten or preschool program as part of their long day care day. This means you get the piece of mind and convenience of your child’s kindergarten and preschool education plus year-round care and long day hours. To help reduce daily out of pocket costs, eligible families will benefit from state government subsidised kindergarten and preschool in our centres, with the addition of the federal government’s Childcare Subsidy, where eligible. This means families have the flexibility for their child/ren to receive the highest quality learning experiences on days that best support them. At Headstart, we provide state-of-the-art, purpose-built childcare facilities along with a comprehensive, developmental and educational program.
We believe outdoor play is essential for children's physical and emotional development. Our centre features a large, secure outdoor area with climbing equipment and fun activities where children can explore, play, and engage with nature daily. The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) can provide up to 100 hours of early childhood education or childcare every fortnight. Your eligibility for these hours is based on your family’s participation in work, study, volunteering, or other approved activities. The more time you dedicate to these, the more subsidised hours of childcare you can access.
With so many open roles in the sector at the moment, I think we should be talking about the differences that really sets Nido apart. From my own experience, they are not always obvious from the outside, but when you get to meet the Nido family you really feel it. Since Nido Early School is a government approved childcare provider, if you are eligible for CCS you will be entitled to the new 3 Day Child Care Subsidy Guarantee on your fees.
When your child is part of the Oz Education family, you can feel confident knowing their safety is embedded in everything we do – every day. Different subsidies may also apply to the kindergarten or preschool programs, depending on the state you live in. If you would like to get an update on your enrolment at any point, you’re welcome to reach out on our Web Chat or call our family support team. Our Family Support team can also help you find an alternate centre near you, with the same offerings, that might have immediate availability. Families eligible for the Child Care Subsidy can now access a minimum of 3 days per week of subsidised early learning and care.
At North Star Early Education, we’ve named each of our rooms after Nordic animals, symbols of strength, curiosity, and wisdom, to reflect the unique journey of development that takes place at every stage of early childhood. These animals are thoughtfully chosen to represent the qualities and characteristics we see in children as they grow and learn. From the gentle beginnings in the Owl Room to the confident steps toward school in the Bear Room, each space is designed to nurture, inspire, and guide children through their early learning journey with care and intention. When a child is given the freedom to make choices, explore their interests, and express themselves in their own way, their confidence begins to grow.
All our kindergarten or preschool programs follow the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), a national learning framework for Australia. We follow national child-safe standards with strong leadership, rigorous recruitment, and ongoing training for everyone in our early schools. Our spaces are designed for clear supervision, and our policies are regularly reviewed to maintain the highest standards.
